Curas President Num Pisutha-Arnond Interviewed for an Article in Part B News

Curas President Num Pisutha-Arnond was recently interviewed for an article in Part B News which included tips to help practices prepare their EHR for MIPS. In the article, Pisutha-Arnond advised: “If you were already meeting the MU (meaningful use) and PQRS (physician quality reporting system) requirements, you should be able to easily meet the MIPS requirements in 2017 without radically changing how your practice operates.” The article goes on to offer four simple steps to help the transition for MIPS go smoothly:

  • Determine whether to report as an individual or group
  • Confirm that your EHR is certified by the ONC
  • Use a qualified clinical data registry (QCDR) to report
  • Keep records
